Beer and Cider Stroll – Discovering Whitaker Mill’s Watering Holes with a Sweet Twist

February 8 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

$50.00

February is Girl Scout Cookie Month, and what better way to celebrate than discovering how well these iconic treats pair with your favorite brews?

We’ll kick things off at Lynnwood Brewing Concern, where you can create your own four-beer flight or try our recommended pairings with Girl Scout Cookies. Think you’ve had the perfect pairing? Wait until you try this!

Next, we’ll stroll over to East Bower Cider Co., Raleigh’s first and only cidery. Enjoy their cozy tasting room or relax by a fire pit on the patio as you sip unique ciders that showcase the flavors of the season. Along the way, you’ll get the inside scoop on nearby breweries and a bit of the local history that makes this neighborhood so special.

We’ll meet at 1:30 PM at Lynnwood Brewing Concern, located at 1053 E Whitaker Mill Road in Raleigh. Bring your sweet tooth, your love of good drinks, and your friends for a fun and flavorful afternoon you won’t forget!

Your guide is Natalie Hampton, owner of Taps & Corks Tours. Natalie has been writing about North Carolina beer and wine for 12 years on the Tarheel Taps & Corks blog. She enjoys sharing her passion for North Carolina beer through walking tours and always looks forward to seasonal beers and ciders.

Note: You must be 21 to participate. Tour is rain or shine. Wear good shoes for walking and clothing appropriate for the weather – we’ll be outside for at least part of our exploration. Plan to arrive at the brewery 10-15 minutes early to park at Loading Dock and locate the group. Parking can be challenging, so plan accordingly.
