In collaboration with Encompass Farm:
Join us for an engaging farm tour designed for local gardeners and anyone interested in learning more about growing organic food and flowers during the cool season. We’ll kick things off with an informative workshop focused on planting a fall garden and extending your harvest through the winter months. You’ll discover valuable tips and tricks for year-round gardening, a skill that’s especially vital for our community’s sustainability and food security.
Before you leave, you’ll receive a set of fall vegetable starts and a printout of resources to help you get started at home. This is more than just a learning experience—it’s an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and take home the tools you need to cultivate your own organic garden. Join us in growing a more resilient, sustainable future for our community!
About Vannah Roddy, Founder of Encompass Farm:
Vannah, a first-generation farmer, became passionate about regenerative agriculture at 17. Instead of pursuing a traditional college education, she traveled across the US and internationally, working on farms in diverse climates to understand sustainable growing practices. Her experiences in the high desert, tropics, and Southeast Asia taught her how to cultivate nutrient-dense food in harmony with nature.
In 2019, Vannah founded Encompass Farm, transforming urban yards into an acre of food and flower production. This unique approach eventually led to her purchasing a permanent farm in 2024. Today, she feeds over 100 families weekly through her Veggie Box Program and crafts farm products like botanical wreaths and seasoning blends.
Through Encompass Land Design, Vannah helps gardeners grow more food with less effort, sharing her knowledge via online classes, books, and Garden Mentorship.
