Blue Ridge Distilling Company, located in North Carolina’s South Mountains, blends Scottish tradition with American ingenuity to create exceptional whisky. Founded in 2010 and veteran owned, the distillery is driven by innovation and craftsmanship.

Its signature spirit, Defiant Whisky, is made with just four pure ingredients: premium American white oak, specially cultured yeast, two-row brewer’s barley, and pristine water from a limestone cavern aquifer beneath the distillery. Every step of production is done in-house using a custom German hybrid still to capture only the heart of each distillation run.

Committed to sustainability, Blue Ridge Distilling Co. repurposes its spent grain by providing it to local farmers as cattle feed. By prioritizing quality, precision, and environmental responsibility, the distillery continues to challenge convention and lead a whisky revolution.
