Instructors: Freddie Bell + Bex Patterson-Markowitz
The teaching artist for this experience is Freddie Bell. Freddie loves using color, shape, and varied repetition to reflect on identity and was a 2022-23 Regional Emerging Artist Resident at ArtSpace. Currently living in Hillsborough, NC he works out of his studio in the Eno Arts Mill and finds inspiration from community and how we seek to understand ourselves.
Will guide you through visual art and somatic exercises, you are given the opportunity to explore and process experiences of grief.
Time will be spent both independently and connecting with the group. All forms of grief are welcome in this intimate workshop. All supplies are provided, but you are encouraged to bring any items that provide comfort. You will leave with multiple practices to support their grief journey.
