Caribbean Island Cuisine – 6 Course Dinner with Local Chef

May 19 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$110.00
Island hopping through the story of food…

In Collaboration with The Nest Raleigh:

Join us this evening for a 6 course dinner exploring delicious Caribbean themed fare with private Chef Lemar Farrington. Each dish will be inspired by the cooking tradition of a different island culture, allowing you to explore the nuances of each bite through its flavor and story.

Chef Lemar was born and raised on the island of St.Thomas, U.S.V.I., and developed a love for food at the age of 10. By the age of 18 had completed culinary training, and for 20+ years has honed his skills to live out his passion for the culinary arts.

Amalie(a), his private culinary business, is based on his desire to bring attention and elevation to his home cuisine; that of the Caribbean.

In doing these dinners, his passion is to bring people closer to Caribbean ingredients, culture, history, and at the same time bring acclaim to a cuisine that has, in his opinion, been overlooked. Through thoughtful flavors, presentation, and an experience that delights and pleases, you’ll discover a new place entirely through your plate.

This experience will be taking place at The Nest co-working space in downtown Raleigh, a unique, independently owned co-working space. It is located in the heart of Downtown Raleigh in City Plaza and are home to companies and people from a huge spectrum of industries.
