About Vannah Roddy and Cherry Mountain Farm:
Vannah, a first-generation farmer, developed a passion for regenerative agriculture at 17 and gained hands-on experience working on farms in diverse climates across the US and internationally. In 2019, she founded Encompass Farm, growing food and flowers on urban land, leading to the purchase of her permanent farm in 2024. Through her Veggie Box Program, she feeds over 100 families weekly and creates farm products like wreaths and seasoning blends. Vannah also offers gardening guidance through Encompass Land Design with online classes and mentorship.
After the workshop, take a leisurely stroll around Cherry Mountain Farm and meet the friendly Kune Kune pigs, goats, dogs, and horses that call it home. Don’t miss the opportunity to shop at the on-site general store, brimming with delightful goodies, gifts, and knick-knacks.
