In collaboration with Apex Wine and Design and Positively Apex:
This workshop will have you enjoying a glass of wine while you paint an “Apex Starry Night” and enjoy an immersive story. The subject of your canvas will feature the famous Downtown Apex, NC skyline with its iconic water tower.
As a crucial part of this experience, you’ll get to enjoy hearing the stories and history of the town of Apex from one of its longest living families! Grab a ticket with some friends to learn something new, try some wine provided by Positively Apex, and enjoy yourself on a Tuesday evening.
The story teller you’ll be hearing from is Apex local Renisha Battle. During Covid, Renisha started researching Apex history with a focus on black owned businesses, black communities, black schools, and black pillars in the community. She deeply believes that “knowing your past helps to shape your future” and has some incredible local histories to share with you.
