In collaboration with Kindred Acres Homestead:
Come walk the Kindred Acres Homestead with owner Bren Torres and daughter Kaliah to pick out different textured, shaped, and colored leaves, herbs, and flowers to put together your own mini bouquet.
Kindred Acres is a small veteran run garden nursery and homestead located in Clayton NC. This beautiful homestead is made up of just under 3.5 acres of land as being transformed into a full food forest. They take care of chickens, pollinators gardens, tea gardens, and much more and always strive to be good stewards of the land and as sustainable as possible.
Your main instructor for this workshop will be Kaliah Torres, a young gardener that has grown a passion for putting together beautiful arrangements who would love to share that joy and passion with you! All ages welcome, grab a ticket and try something fun.
*This is an outdoor event so make sure to dress appropriately and bring a canteen or beverage. It’s recommended you bring a pair of garden gloves and a sharp pair of scissors though there will be supplies to share if needed.
