In a search for something to call her own, Laura Gerenser created Adventures in Bloom in the Spring of 2017. Evolving from a mobile craft workshop to a full brick and mortar location, it is now a local handmade gift shop and craft space in the heart of Downtown Apex, North Carolina. Laura’s ultimate goal was to create a “Communal Space for the Creative Adventurer”. A collaborative shop where ideas come to blossom into businesses. They offer a number of different workshops like metal stamping as well as local, curated goods from over 30 different makers.
In this hands-on, family friendly workshop you’ll learn the basics of stamping on metal to create personalized art and accessories. You will have complete control over your piece with enough guidance from expert Laura that by the end of class you can turn your masterpiece into a finished product to take home. There is a wide range of stamping options such as jewelry, keychains, bookmarks, ornaments and more!
Your ticket price includes both an initial practice piece and then a finished piece of your choose – this can be a necklace, earrings, bookmark, bracelet, ornament – you name it! An “al-a-carte” menu is also available for those that decide they would like to make more than just one piece.
