Sophie’s Grill and Bar is a family endeavor helmed by first-generation immigrants to America. Owner and Chef Desislava, or “Desy,” hails from Bulgaria and opened her restaurant as a way to share the love and hospitality of her grandmother’s cooking. Her staff is comprised of Chef Cristina from Romania, Sommelier Dalibor from Serbia, and Pastry Chef Neli, also from Bulgaria.
Come sip on aromatic teas and savor an elegant spread of classic British pastries and dainty finger sandwiches, lovingly prepared by Desy and her talented team. As the teapots steam and conversation flows, test your knowledge with a round of lively tea trivia that explores the fascinating history, customs, and quirks of tea across cultures. Feel free to unleash your inner royalty—fabulous tea party attire is highly encouraged!
In addition to local handcrafted tea, each ticket includes:
- 3 sandwiches: 1 salmon, 1 chicken, 1 cucumber
- 3 scones: 1 blueberry, 1 strawberry 1 apricot
- 3 sweets: strawberry British cake, red velvet cake, and champagne strawberry mousse
