An Evening at the Farm: A Southern Farm-to-Table Experience

September 13 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$95.00

Presented by New Beginnings Farm & Chef Tricia Mills Baehr, with wines provided in partnership with Mountain Brook Vineyards:

Pull up a chair at our table and spend an evening where every bite tells the story of our land, our farmers, and our Southern roots.

At New Beginnings Historic Farm, the evening begins surrounded by friends old and new as the sun sets over rolling fields. You’ll savor a three-course farm-to-table dinner by Chef Tricia Mills Baehr, whose menus are a love letter to the South — warm, generous, and deeply tied to the seasons.

Every course is prepared with meat and produce raised and grown by our neighbors at New Beginnings Historic Farm, Vandele Farms, Encompass Farm, and TK Family Farm. It’s food that’s fresh, local, and brimming with flavor you can only get here, at this moment.

Live music will weave through the evening, setting the perfect tone for connection, laughter, and the kind of conversations you remember long after the plates are cleared. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the wines of Mountain Brook Vineyards, available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

Wine social is from 5–6pm, followed by dinner from 6–9pm.

About Chef Tricia Mills Baehr

Chef Tricia Baehr’s culinary journey spans more than 40 years, from her start in the hospitality industry at age 14 to baking under world-renowned Chef John Fleer at The Inn at Blackberry Farm. She has owned her own restaurant, run a decorated cookie franchise, and served as Catering Director for Foothills Local Meats.

In 2008, inspired by her young son’s curiosity about food origins, she spent over four years traveling the U.S., visiting farms, and cooking from scratch with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Now the Pastry Chef at The Pure & Proper in Black Mountain, Tricia also tends a thriving permaculture homestead in Rutherford County, infusing her creations with the flavors of Western North Carolina’s farms and fields.
