Experience the art of a timeless craft and take home a piece to treasure for generations…
In collaboration with Cherry Mountain Farm and General Store:
This workshop—led by Night Owl Iron Works—offers the chance to learn basic forging techniques and create a lasting, functional product. Night Owl Iron Works, renowned for its focus on functionality and craftsmanship, has grown its artistry, fueled by a renewed interest in this historic craft.
Jordon Jackson, founder of Night Owl Iron Works, will lead you through the Forge Your Own Horseshoe Knife workshop. The experience begins with an introduction to basic forging techniques, followed by personalized one-on-one time at the forge, where you’ll craft your unique piece. Each 30-minute session accommodates two participants at a time, and by the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a fully finished and functional horseshoe knife.
While waiting for your turn at the forge, feel free to explore Cherry Mountain Farm, visit the general store, or grab a bite from a local food truck!
On the same day, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Night Owl will be offering a Forge Your Own J-Hook workshop, with 10-minute time slots available. To secure your spot, please click here.
