In collaboration with Artspace NC:
This gallery walk is designed for creators, community builders, and entrepreneurs who are interested in being exposed to new perspectives and developing new ideas. Led by Shawnette Rochelle, a certified executive coach and a skilled facilitator, this event will lead participants through an exploration and facilitated dialogue of select exhibits to discover how the intersection of art and entrepreneurship can inspire you.
Artists create as a way to express themselves, capture history, provoke thought, highlight injustice, and countless other reasons. Entrepreneurs create in their own unique ways. They pair market “know-how” with a commitment to solving problems. The intentional intersection of art and entrepreneurship, when paired with thoughtful facilitation of dialogue, can create a space for people to reflect on their own thinking, converse about how they are framing problems, and design entirely new paths forward.
Those attending this event will meet and chat with other creators, utilize art as a source of insight into their respective ways of thinking about challenges, and be guided in designing actionable steps to address a current obstacle in their life. Following this experience, participants will be invited to continue to converse and build community at a nearby venue.
