Flat Baroque – An Art-centric Burlesque Show and Figure Drawing Workshop

In Collaboration with Doll Hat Productions and CoLab Raleigh:
Join us at the Tap Yard Raleigh for a night of art, excitement, and entertainment! All to the benefit of local non-profit and artist collective, CoLab Raleigh.
This showcase will feature an array of performances including burlesque and draglesque along with live painting and figure drawing taking place as soon as the doors open and during every intermission.
Come for the splendor and spectacle, to sharpen up your drawing skills, to paint anything just for fun, and to connect with a local community of kind and collaborative artists all working together to make the world a little more colorful. If that isn’t enough, there will also be a treasure-filled auction of locally sourced items you won’t want to miss or leave behind.
Your host and facilitator for the evening is local artist and coordinator GiGi (just GiGi), founder of Doll Hat Productions. GiGi began producing fundraising variety shows for non-profits in 2023 and has a knack for putting magic into any event.
Last but not least, CoLab Raleigh, our beneficiary for the evening, is an ever growing community of visual artists that believes everyone benefits from making art. They strive to support and inspire each other while making it as easy as possible for anyone to get involved.
This includes offer weekly figure drawing sessions, workshops, a gallery that YOU can show your work in, open studio hours, and collaborative painting events that encourage participation from all!
