A little know-how can turn the ordinary into something magical…
In collaboration with Art for All NC Nonprofit:
Every year an enormous amount of wrapping paper is thrown away and never used again. What if you could turn that trash into something reusable and uniquely beautiful? Sarah Ann Austin is a paper artist expert and she is going to show you how to turn the brilliant colors of your wrapping paper into the foundation of recycled, handmade paper.
Discover this fun and useful process in the perfect setting at Norwood Garden Center: 12 acres of plants, fountains & a garden shop. Just bring along a bag of tape-free wrapping paper and the rest will be provided! Sarah will walk you through the entire handmade process and you’ll get to leave with a stack of your very own recycled paper.
This event is Pay-What-You-Can, so all tickets are the same value, but if you can afford to purchase a higher ticket price it would be greatly appreciated. Proceeds will go to the Art for All NC Nonprofit, a mobile and virtual art studio that promotes arts education and collaborative artistic expression. Come support something wonderful!
