A delightful Highland cow-themed afternoon tea, set against the picturesque backdrop of our historic farmhouse and pastures…
In collaboration with New Beginnings Farm:
Step back in time and savor the season with our Historic House Tour and Holiday Tea with the Highland Cows! This cozy and festive event invites you to New Beginnings’ beautifully decorated 1910 farmhouse, where you’ll start with check-in at the welcoming front porch.
Explore the farmhouse on a historic tour, warm up by a cheerful bonfire, and make some furry friends as you feed and pet the farm animals. The afternoon culminates with a Highland cow-themed Christmas tea, set near the pasture for an authentic farm experience. You’ll sip tea while learning all about our beloved Highland cows, complete with a safety orientation before we pet and feed them through our rustic wooden fence. Capture the moment with your own camera and be sure to tag #nbhistoricfarm when sharing your memories!
Afternoon tea will include a delicious spread featuring freshly baked scones, decadent Highland Cow cupcake brownies, savory chicken salad, and tangy pimento cheese, all paired with a selection of aromatic teas and freshly brewed coffee.
This event is ideal for families (children 6 and up welcome with an adult) and Highland cow enthusiasts alike. Please come prepared with closed-toe shoes and clothing fit for a day on the farm. We’ll end our time together by washing up and exploring some charming Highland-inspired merchandise. In the event of poor weather, rest assured we have a covered pavilion so you can still enjoy a cozy tea and scenic views of the cows.
