In collaboration with Artspace NC:
Celebrate the season and make a little artistic mischief in this holiday printmaking workshop.
Local artist and instructor Alanah Reid is a fabulous studio artist in the Artspace community and will guide you through this creative experience for making your prints. For those who are new to the practice, printmaking is a delightfully messy and creative endeavor where you explore carving out the negative or positive space of your material before using it to print your images.
Artspace, your host for this event, is a non-profit visual arts center located in Downtown Raleigh. Visit Artspace for a multitude of exhibitions featuring national and local artists and to enjoy a community of more than 35 artists working in studio, artists in residence, and to find other art classes for all ages and abilities.
*Workshop for attendees 16 years of age or older.
