In collaboration with Cherry Mountain Farm and General Store:
This hands-on workshop will take you through the process of selecting natural farm momentos and preserving them in a resin craft of your own to take home with you.
You’ll learn all about what resin is, how to use it safely, and the myriad of different creative things you can make with it. Your instructor, artist and artisan Leigh Durka, will walk you through placing and pouring your objects before allowing them to cure in the sunlight. By the end of the workshop you’ll be leaving with a resin keychain containing perfectly preserved objects from the farm. This could be seeds, flowers, or even candy knowing Cherry Mountain Farm…

For the past seven years, Leigh has delved into the captivating realm of resin-related art, developing her skill for transforming discarded items into exquisite works of functional art. After the workshop, take a stroll around the farm to see the friendly Kune Kune pigs, goats, dogs, and horse that call Cherry Mountain Farm home and definitely don’t forget to do a little shopping at the on-site general store which is bursting with all kinds of goodies, gifts, and knick knacks.
Craig and Debbi have over a decade of experience as farmers and have put a lot of love and care into what they do.
