On Blankets and Roses – Try-it-out Crochet Workshop

Did you know that you can crochet pretty much anywhere? It’s a great exercise in creativity and mindfulness and all it takes is a single tool and some yarn which need almost no space. To prove that point, we’re creating a series of crochet workshops in places all over the Raleigh area, from parks, to coffee houses, to clubs.

For this workshop, come spend some time with Suzy Hasanin, lifelong crochet artist and all around awesome person! Suzy believes that if you can crack the code to the fundamentals, you can crochet anything and she wants to show you how. She will be hosting this experience at the Raleigh rose garden, an iconic outdoor space, and will be teaching beginners as well as providing some instruction for the experienced. The only thing you’ll need to bring is a blanket to sit on!
