In collaboration with Artspace NC:
Create a hand-crafted plant pot you’ll be proud to gift or keep for yourself! In partnership with Copperline Plant Co., participants will craft a unique 4-to-5-inch ceramic pot by learning basic pottery and glazing techniques. To celebrate the spirit of giving, Copperline Plant Co. will provide a complimentary plant for each participant.
This workshop is divided into two sessions. In the first session, held on December 5th from 6-9pm, students will focus on shaping the clay and creating their pots. Artspace will fire the greenware during the week, preparing your pots for the second session on December 12th, also from 6-9pm, where students will glaze their pieces. After a final kiln firing, participants can pick up their pots, along with their plants, at Copperline Plant Co. within a few days.
This is an entry-level class—no prior experience is required.
