In collaboration with Artspace NC:
Join us for a fun and creative pottery class! In this hands-on experience, students will craft a unique 4-to-5-inch ceramic pot using basic hand-building and glazing techniques. Thanks to our partnership with Copperline Plant Co., participants will also receive a complimentary plant.
The workshop is split into two sessions. In the first, on November 14th from 6-9pm, you’ll focus on shaping the clay and forming your pots. Artspace will fire the greenware during the week, and in the second session, on November 21st from 6-9pm, students will glaze their pieces. After a final firing, students can pick up their pots and visit Copperline Plant Co. to claim their plant!
This is an entry-level class—no prior experience is required.
Artspace, your host for this event, is a non-profit visual arts center located in Downtown Raleigh. Visit Artspace for a multitude of exhibitions featuring national and local artists and to enjoy a community of more than 35 artists working in studio, artists in residence, and to find other art classes for all ages and abilities.
