This Saturday experience is brought to you by Triangle Treasure Hunt, a local experience by Ben and Whitney Strunk that encourages people to explore their area through wonder and critical thinking. Ben and Whitney got the idea for TTH in 2018 after a trip to Florence, Italy where they got engaged at the end of a similar scavenger hunt activity. They have been creating treasure hunts in the Triangle area ever since!
Hunters will meet at the southwest corner of Nash Square by the rainbow sculpture and then depart with their treasure map on a walking team scavenger hunt where they will use their minds and feet to follow St. Patrick’s Day themed clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes to find and unlock the treasure chest for a grand prize!
The hunt involves walking a distance of 1.5-2.5 miles in total and will take place rain or shine, so long as the weather does not become dangerous. The hunt typically takes about 60 minutes to complete. While you are more than welcome to take on the challenge alone, we encourage signing up with at least one another team member!
Children under 10 years old are welcome to participate for free along with the purchase of an Adult ticket.
