In collaboration with Wrenn’s Farms…
Join us for some spring seeding with horticulture expert and farm owner Christina at Wrenn’s Farm. Christina has grown acres of delicious vegetables and gorgeous flowers for her farm and she is now opening up her classroom to share her knowledge of starting spring seedlings with others.
During the class, each participant will have their own station with all supplies needed to start their own vegetable and/or flower seedlings. Stations will be equipped with a seeding tray and dome, substrate, fertilizer, labels and seeds. Participants will be able to choose from a variety of seeds, including, tomatoes, peppers, squash, zucchini, watermelon, okra, sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, herbs and more. Each tray has 40 cells and is customizable. Christina teaches all you need to know to plant and care for your seedlings, and how to transplant them into your outdoor or patio garden.
Each guest will receive a complimentary drink along with a care brochure, extra substrate, and small pots and fertilizer for continued care of their seedlings. Additional supplies will also be available for purchase at the event.
