Join us at an incredible urban farm that is making a big difference! This is a special event in support of this awesome community space where you’ll enjoy a multi-course dinner each with drink pairings.
The Summer Farm To Table Dinner features locally/organic grown products in partnership with People’s First Tourism and Triangle United Growers (TUG). Our goal is to not only provide a fabulous experience, but to promote eating hyper locally grown food, urban/regenerative farming, and addressing some of the issues around our food system and food insecurity.
Dinner will be created and plated by local Chef George Acosta. He will be preparing creative seasonal vegan dishes designed to surprise you and even make you think differently about plant based cuisine. He will also be including some delicious beverage pairings with each of the main courses.
As an urban farm, Sweet Peas has a lot of expertise in making the most of their limited area. They’ve shown us how to inoculate mushrooms, ferment and can foods, and grow microgreens, but this week they’re letting us taste all the fruits of their labor with this special experience.
