The Kickback is down home fun meets the big city and is the brain child of economic and community advocate, Shanese “Neesy” Green. She loves Raleigh, NC and wants to show you the best parts of it while introducing you to the people and organizations that make it better.
This experience begins with a candid conversation and leisure excursion that celebrates local movers and shakers, takes you to explore a special Raleigh experience, and raises awareness for meaningful causes. You’ll begin with a facilitated discussion during the new Jazz Bizz networking experience where you’ll meet content creators, executive leaders, and all-around innovative people who strive for better lives.

Following this facilitated discussion, your ticket will guarantee you access to the C-Minor Jazz night which runs until 11:00 PM and features 3 different styles of jazz performance all throughout different levels of Split along with a professional Cabaret experience.

A little about your guide: Neesy Green first fell in love with bright lights in little old New Bern, North Carolina. Now, she shares her own light in the City of Raleigh! An entertainer since childhood, Neesy has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, danced for the NC A&T Band, accomplished a 20 year career in banking, and given Taste Carolina Gourmet Food Tours for years. Her experience and deep community roots make her the perfect person to help you discover some of the most wonderful and unexpected pieces of downtown Raleigh.
