Greg believes life is richer when we communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with one another and with the world around us. He’s an award-winning facilitator and arts educator teaching applied philosophy through music in corporations, congregations, communities, and classrooms. Greg is the founder of the Raleigh Drum Circle and is hyper-active in the local arts community. On the hunt for vintage hi-fi and midcentury modern design, he’s hip to all the second-hand shops in town. Greg is a graduate of NC State University and holds a graduate certificate in Transformative Leadership from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. He has called Raleigh home since 1986. Description
Greg is an avid coffee lover and a frequent dweller of Raleigh’s proliferating local coffee shop scene. In this experience, he will meet his guests in the Moore Square area to begin an unscripted stroll around downtown walking in and out of his favorite coffee shops. On this tour, guests will learn some local history and colorful facts about the downtown Raleigh area while exploring a variety of different coffee drinks and roasts along with the downtown coffee culture. Regular stops on this stroll may include; A place at The Table, Videri Chocolatier, Raleigh Raw, Lucette Grace, Sir Walter Coffee, and 42 and Lawrence, but the tour will be customized to accommodate date, time, and the weather.
The tour takes between 1.5-2 hours and for the sake of comfort in the weather, mornings work best in summer and afternoons in winter.
