Fermenting food and drinks enhances their probiotic content, vitamin content, shelf life, and flavor. When you buy fermented foods from the grocery store, they have only a tiny fraction of the probiotics of those you would make at home. As this workshop’s teacher, Jessica Harris, has discovered, making your own is cheaper, healthier, and endlessly more creative and satisfying. This workshop will educate you on the basics of fermentation while you prepare your own fermented fruits, vegetables, and kombucha to take home with you. Once you know, you’ll be fermenting for life.
