Celebrate the last month of Winter by experiencing beer and cider at locations near Raleigh’s Whitaker Mill neighborhood.
On this tour, we’ll have some light appetizers, taste beer and cider at a local brewery and cidery, and explore the history of craft beer in Raleigh and North Carolina.
The locations – Lynnwood Brewing Concern Taproom and East Bower Cidery – are just a short walk from each other. We’ll meet at Lynnwood Brewing Concern, and then move on to nearby East Bower Cidery.
Your guide is Natalie Hampton, owner of Taps & Corks Tours. Natalie has been writing about North Carolina beer and wine for 12 years on the Tarheel Taps & Corks blog. She enjoys sharing her passion for North Carolina beer through walking tours, and always looks forward to winter seasonal beers and ciders.
*You must be 21 to participate. Tour is rain or shine. Wear good shoes for walking and clothing appropriate for the weather. Plan to arrive at the brewery about 10 minutes early to park at Loading Dock and locate the group.”
