Spooky Halloween Beer and Cider Stroll

October 28, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$73.00

A stroll to the local pub or brewery is a tradition as old as time…

In Collaboration with Taps & Corks Tours:

With this experience you’ll spend the afternoon in the Whitaker Mill Road/Old Wake Forest Road neighborhood visiting three beverage venues that produce beer and cider. The tour will include 2-3 tastings at each venue and you’ll learn all about North Carolina’s craft beer industry, how beer and cider are made, and what makes these Raleigh establishments unique.

Your guide for the afternoon will be Natalie Hampton, founder of Taps & Corks Tours. Natalie has been writing about North Carolina beer and wine for 12 years on the Tarheel Taps & Corks blog. She enjoys sharing her passion for North Carolina beer through walking tours and always looks forward to fall seasonal beers and ciders!

You’ll begin your stroll in the same place you end, at the corner of Pershing Road across from Neuse River Brewing, a block with lots of on-street parking. The group will then stroll to the first brewery for some tastings and appetizers followed by a visit to Raleigh’s first cidery to taste ciders made from local apples. We’ll be aiming to sample any fall seasonals these establishments have on tap,.

*Must be 21 to participate. Tour is rain or shine. Wear good shoes for walking and clothing appropriate for the weather. Feel free to wear your Halloween costume – not required!
