Meet the owner, Tiayonna:

Tiayonna’s love for gardening began with childhood visits to her granddad’s backyard in Charlotte, NC, where towering sunflowers and giant cabbages left a lasting impression. After college, she realized that growing food nourishes not just the body but also the mind and soul, leading her to pursue advanced studies in Agricultural Education.

Now the owner of Carolina Garden Coaching, Tiayonna is passionate about helping others grow their own food, with a special focus on urban gardening, food accessibility, and environmental education. She dreams of seeing every school in North Carolina embrace gardening as a hands-on learning tool and is dedicated to making gardening accessible to all—no matter their space or experience level.
